ART AS A MEDITATION - NURTURE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
Creative meditation develops clarity and allows you to access a greater sense of self, finding more peace and letting go of internal conflict. Being creative has been found to reduce stress and anxiety, a great way to explore a subject, merging what you think and feel.
Traditionally, concentration meditation involves focusing on a single point. In this form of meditation, participants simply learn to focus their awareness on the object of attention, absorbing the mind through a creative process. Participants’ ability to concentrate improves.
Capturing the essence of a subject with using a variety of line with the fluidity of water and ink, this process helps the participant to let go of our innate desire to control and learn to move with.
Mindfulness meditation encourages the practitioner to observe any wandering thoughts as they arise in the mind. While engaging in this activity it enables the participants the capacity to view their thoughts more objectively, in a calmer and impartial position, without judgement which develops an awareness of being. With practice, an inner balance can develop.
